Capitalism has lifted billions out of poverty in China and emerging markets. The successful European systems balance free markets and capitalism with strong social systems. Its about taking the best of capitalism and free markets (the two are different), taming the excesses, and investing part of the wealth creation into social protections. Nuanced, not broad brushes.
